Today, on the last day of May, I am thankful that Summer is coming.
I would never have guessed by looking outside today that Summer is just around the corner because it has been a cold and rainy and gloomy day. But I know that Summer is coming. I know this because it was bright and there was light streaming in through the windows early this morning. And even as I write this, the sun has not quite set.
The long days just may be my favorite part of this time of year. I'm thankful for every extra minute of daylight!
