Today I am thankful for lakes.
I grew up swimming in lakes more often than oceans. Cold, clear, mountain lakes.
I love me an ocean, but there's something so lovely about a lake.
No big waves. No sharks. The perfect place to plop an inner tube and float.
And float I did. For the better part of the day.
