Today I am thankful for orchids.
I try to keep one perpetually blooming in my house at all times. They are so simply beautiful but if you look closer, intricate.
They remind me of cats in that the less you pay attention to them, the more they reward you with affection. A little water, some good sun, and the blooms hang for months.
