Day 227: August 14, 2011

Today I am thankful for a flight through the clouds. 

I like that even up close, as they zoom by the airplane window, they look like clouds, not just droplets of water. 

I like that when the plane levels out above, you get a view of the tops; they look like mounds of cotton, some wispy and some dense, some gathered like sea foam. 

I like that when you fly through, you get a sense of just how fast the plane is moving, unlike most of the flight when I have an unrealistic feeling of moving slowly.
