Today I am thankful for new vocabulary.
I feel like the universe really wanted me to know the word septuagenarian.
It is not a complicated word; I deciphered the definition right away, but it is one that I never would have used before today.
Now I will use it. I don't know when, but it will happen.
Because what are the odds that I would encounter this word twice in one day? I'm not statistical genius, but I feel confident guessing that the odds are low.
Maybe I should ask a septuagenarian...

I will have you know that I included this as an example on my handout for my American Literature Honors class. They have to identify vocabulary they don't know and this was a word I used as my own example. Yay septuagenarians!
