Today I am thankful for ladybugs.
I think they might be one of the only bugs I can honestly say I like.
As I was washing lettuce for our dinner salad, propped on one of the leaves was a ladybug! This has to mean I have some serious good luck coming my way because this little bug made it's way from the farm, was washed and put in a box, was delivered to my doorstep, spent four days in the refrigerator, and stayed alive to almost make it to my dinner plate.
I released it to the wilds of my San Francisco planter box; I hope it hasn't already frozen to death!
