Today I am thankful for exercise classes.
I usually gravitate towards outdoor physical activities because they feel less like exercise to me, so I don't get as bored. I would much, much rather go for a walk or jog in the park than do half the distance on a treadmill.
The exception to this rule is classes. I love group exercise classes because I am so much more likely to push myself. There is absolutely no way I would get myself to do the amount of lunges I did today without a room full of people doing them with me and Michael Jackson's Billy Jean remix blasting over the loud speaker.

that is the truth! it's so much easier to stop when you feel you're exerting too much energy when you're on your own. in a class, you constantly amaze yourself at what you can accomplish when forced by peer pressure. ;)
